Zhiyuan Robotics has unveiled the next generation of its embodied base large model, Genie Operator-2 (GO-2), representing a major leap forward in embodied intelligence. The model's core mission is to close the gap between understanding instructions and executing them precisely, enabling robots to not only grasp commands but also carry out tasks effectively.
Breakthrough Action Thought Chain Technology
GO-2 introduces an "action thought chain" mechanism that moves beyond the traditional "see and act" blind mode. After receiving a command, the model first generates a structured sequence of actions internally, much like a basketball player visualizing the trajectory before shooting, ensuring a clear and logically coherent action path.
Supporting this mechanism, GO-2 employs an innovative asynchronous dual-system architecture. The slow system handles high-level planning, while the fast system continuously adjusts action details in real time at a higher frequency. This design allows the robot to complete tasks reliably even when faced with disturbances such as desk height variations or objects sliding.
Setting Multiple Industry Benchmark Records
In performance tests, GO-2 achieved top rankings in several global embodied intelligence benchmarks, including LIBERO, with an average success rate of 98.5%. Even in complex environments with lighting interference and background noise, the model demonstrated strong generalization and robustness.
Zhiyuan Robotics has now connected the entire loop from model training to real-world deployment through its Genie Studio development platform. This means GO-2 is no longer just a lab demonstration but a production-ready system capable of continuous learning and evolution via cloud data, paving the way for practical applications of embodied intelligence.
