DJI Unveils Mic 3: A Compact Powerhouse for Wireless Audio
The tech giant continues to refine its wireless microphone lineup with the DJI Mic 3, delivering professional-grade features in a remarkably smaller form factor. This latest iteration improves upon its predecessors while maintaining excellent battery performance, packing dual adaptive gain control modes, three vocal presets, and expanded storage capabilities into a device half the size of the Mic 2.
Priced at $219 for the single transmitter/receiver package or $329 for the dual-transmitter kit with charging case, the Mic 3 represents a notable price increase over previous models. Currently unavailable in the US market, this release follows the Mic Mini ($169) and Mic 2 ($219 dual-transmitter kit), positioning itself as a premium offering.
Engineered for versatility, the wireless system supports simultaneous connections with up to four transmitters and eight receivers - perfect for capturing multiple speakers across distances up to 400 meters (1,312 feet). Intelligent frequency hopping between 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands ensures stable transmission, while two-stage active noise cancellation provides pristine audio capture.
