Launched on Monday, this tool is now available to a selection of mobile users in the US, offering a concise paragraph on a product's page that captures the essence of customer feedback and highlights key features. You can even dive deeper into specific aspects like "ease of use" or "reliability" to see targeted excerpts from reviews.
Curious about this new feature? Amazon began testing it back in June and has now expanded its reach. When you're looking at a product, you might spot a customer reviews section above the actual reviews, featuring a brief AI-generated summary. It's clearly marked as such, and you can click on different attributes to see focused summaries and snippets from various customer reviews.

Amazon isn't alone in this tech trend. Last week, Newegg announced they're using ChatGPT to create "Review Bytes" and longer AI-generated paragraphs, but this is currently limited to their desktop site and products with a certain number of reviews.
