Adobe Photoshop AI Feature Rotates 2D Objects into 3D Effects Instantly
Adobe has rolled out major updates for Photoshop and Lightroom, bringing generative AI technology into the realm of 3D space processing. The most anticipated innovation in this release is the new "Rotate Object" tool, which overcomes the constraints of traditional 2D assets in spatial editing.
This new capability allows users to rotate, tilt, or flip 2D assets in real-time within a 3D space. The technology not only shifts an object's perspective but also intelligently adapts the scene's visual logic to match its surroundings, significantly expanding creative freedom for compositing.

Intelligent Lighting Matching
To solve the problem of awkward blending after rotating assets, Photoshop also introduced the "Harmonize" feature. With one click, the AI automatically calculates the environmental lighting direction and reconstructs the object's lighting details, ensuring the asset integrates perfectly with the background.
Beyond visual editing advancements, the new software includes deep optimizations for professional workflows. The highly anticipated "Layer Cleanup" tool, previewed last year, is now officially available. It can intelligently rename layers and automatically remove redundant elements, freeing creators from tedious project organization tasks.
Comprehensive Speed Boost for Image Management
Lightroom's cloud editor also shines in this update. Its search system now supports more precise natural language queries. Users can type descriptive phrases to find specific photos, fundamentally changing the traditional keyword-tag search experience.
Under the hood, the responsiveness of adjustment sliders in the new software has been improved by up to five times. Combined with a newly added collection of vintage film presets, photographers gain a smoother and more controllable editing experience when working with large volumes of assets.
