Pudu Robotics Unveils MP2000 Autonomous Forklift

Featuring pallet pickup cycles as rapid as 20 seconds, Pudu Robotics has introduced the MP2000, an AI-driven autonomous pallet handler engineered for high-frequency, heavy-payload transport in busy manufacturing and logistics environments.
Expanding the company’s autonomous mobile robot (AMR) lineup, the MP2000 enables automated pallet retrieval and placement within warehouse or factory operations.
Fitted with 3D lidar and depth cameras, the MP2000 detects target pallet locations and dynamically adjusts approach paths in real time, achieving fork-in cycles as low as 20 seconds.
Enhanced perception and obstacle avoidance
Using onboard sensors, the MP2000 navigates safely from pickup to dropoff, avoiding obstacles throughout the facility. These sensors also verify pallet size and configuration, compensating for misalignment and varying load dimensions to maneuver smoothly through tight spaces.
Pallet handling often lacks a single standard. The PUDU MP2000 supports common pallet types, including three-runner and perimeter-base pallets, while adapting to customized or non-standard load carriers.
Fleet intelligence manages large-scale operations
When integrated with other Pudu Robotics AMRs, distributed fleet intelligence merges local decision-making with fleet-level coordination. The fleet manager also supports multi-robot task coordination even during network outages.
Additionally, the vehicle allows manual operator override, converting it into a powered manual forklift when needed.
Pudu’s T Series AMRs, such as the PUDU T300, handle flexible delivery and material transport. The PUDU MP2000 extends this capability to palletized, heavier loads and floor-to-floor transportation, covering key workflows across loading docks, warehouses, line-side storage, and production workshops.
The MP2000 communicates with peripheral equipment like doors and elevators to access controlled facility areas.
