MemoraX AI, underdog in large model memory, secures over 100M yuan in Seed+ funding

Innovation in artificial intelligence is moving faster than ever. Shenzhen Yiji Yuan Technology Co., Ltd., a company specializing in large model memory systems (referred to as "MemoraX AI"), has announced another successful funding round. The company completed a seed+ round worth tens of millions of RMB. Just about a month after its $10 million seed round in April, the total raised from both rounds now exceeds 100 million RMB. This round was exclusively advised by Lightsource Capital, signaling strong market confidence in the company's potential within this vertical.
MemoraX AI was founded in March 2026 by Hao Jianye, former director of Huawei's Noah's Ark Lab, and has assembled top talent in reinforcement learning and artificial intelligence. The company focuses on Agentic RL (agent-based reinforcement learning) technology, aiming to solve the common "memory loss" bottleneck faced by large models. Unlike traditional approaches that rely on external retrieval (RAG) for information, MemoraX AI seeks to internalize memory capabilities directly into the model through technological innovation, achieving a deeper form of "intrinsic memory."
The company stated that the funds will be primarily invested in deep iteration of core technologies and large-scale engineering deployment. As the "intrinsic memory module" transitions from experimental stages to productization, MemoraX AI is accelerating its rollout across key application scenarios: on the B2B side, it empowers intelligent upgrades in enterprise knowledge management and professional domain knowledge bases; on the B2C side, it aims to deliver long-term, accurate memory-based interactions through highly personalized smart assistants.
