Kimi K2.7 Code High-Speed Version Officially Launched for Ultra-Fast Programming
Moonshot AI has accelerated its AI coding tools, launching a faster Kimi K2.7Code model on June 15. This high-speed version is now accessible to Kimi Code Beta participants, API developers, and Kimi Business subscribers.
The upgrade focuses on enhanced response speed. While maintaining the same logic as the standard Kimi K2.7Code, technical optimizations have boosted output speed by 5 to 6 times. In practice, short context tasks can reach 260 Tokens per second, while regular programming tasks average around 180 Tokens per second.

This performance boost comes with a higher cost. The high-speed version is priced at double the standard rate. Standard input and output costs are 13 yuan and 54 yuan per million Tokens, respectively. Cached inputs are charged at 2.6 yuan per million Tokens.

Released on June 12, Kimi K2.7Code targets long-context programming. It improves instruction following and long-range task handling, optimizing complex code logic to reduce average token consumption by approximately 30%.
For developers and enterprises, this high-speed option offers faster response times for frequent code iterations and real-time interactions, balancing cost with high-quality model output.
