JD.com and Tencent have announced the integration of JD.com’s AI Agent into the Tencent Yuanbao mini-program ecosystem. This partnership enables JD.com’s AI Agent to deliver comprehensive product details and end-to-end shopping services within Yuanbao, allowing users to seamlessly browse and place orders without switching apps.
JD.com's AI Agent is integrated with multiple smartphone manufacturers' intelligent agents
Developed in-house by JD.com, the AI Agent has become the first e-commerce vertical partner of Tencent Yuanbao. Beyond this collaboration, JD.com’s AI Agent is also integrated with the intelligent agents of major smartphone manufacturers via the A2A protocol, creating a cross-platform AI shopping network. Users can describe their needs in natural language to receive product information and jump directly to product pages to complete purchases, significantly streamlining the shopping experience.
JD.com plans to collaborate with additional partners to explore diverse AI shopping scenarios. This partnership signifies a shift in e-commerce from traditional search-based shopping to conversational commerce, positioning AI agents as a key interface connecting users with products and strengthening Tencent Yuanbao’s e-commerce capabilities.
