We're thrilled to announce our latest session, teaming up with none other than Jacob Collier, the six-time Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
Over the past year, Jacob's been jamming with Google DeepMind and Google Labs to refine MusicFX DJ, a nifty tool that lets you be the maestro of an AI-driven music session. By blending different prompts like instruments, genres, and even emotions, MusicFX DJ empowers anyone to guide a seamless stream of music, perfect for sparking new ideas or sampling in your own tracks. And the best part? These updates to MusicFX DJ are rolling out as we speak!
Jacob shared that his creative journey often kicks off with a simple question: *Well, what am I dreaming up today?* "That's always a solid starting point for anything you're making," he says. "Once you answer that, you tap into this flow state—and once you're in that flow, you're off to the races."
His collaboration with the team focused on enhancing that flow state, making creative expression and inspiration more accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or skill level. Users can now share up to 60 seconds of their MusicFX DJ sessions with others, who can use it as a starting point to create something new.
The team also introduced a feature where you can share a snippet of your MusicFX DJ session with others, giving them a chance to remix and build upon your work. You can watch a 60-second playback of a performance and then take the reins, exploring new creative paths from your initial creation.
