Meta is now integrating its AI-driven photo and video editing tools directly into Instagram Stories. Users can simply type text prompts to add or remove objects from their media, or even transform the entire scene.
Although Meta previously offered image editing tools on Instagram, they were only accessible through conversations with its AI chatbot. By introducing text-based prompts within Stories, these powerful editing options become far more intuitive and readily available.
You can find these new features in the "Restyle" menu, located at the top of the Instagram Stories editor when you tap the paintbrush icon. To edit a photo, select "add," "remove," or "change" and describe your desired edit in the prompt bar. For example, Meta suggests you could ask to change your hair color, add a crown to your head, or place a sunset in the background.
