On May 12, Google officially launched a new Android feature called "Create My Widget " (Create My Widget), enabling users to build personalized widgets using natural language commands (Vibe Code). As a key part of the Gemini Intelligence ecosystem, the feature will roll out first on the latest Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel series this summer, marking a significant shift of generative AI from conversational interfaces to system-level customization.

Technically, "Create My Widget" goes beyond pre-built components. Users simply input their needs to generate a dashboard capable of real-time data fetching and logic processing. By leveraging Gemini 's cross-app integration, the feature can access private data from Gmail and Calendar , combining it with online sources to create a unified information hub. For example, users can build a travel management widget that pulls together flight updates, hotel bookings, and countdown timers, or a weather monitor tailored to their personal fitness preferences.
Beyond widget customization, Google also announced several native AI upgrades, including advanced auto-fill and AI voice transcription in Gboard .
