Google Outlines Daily Limits for Its Gemini AI Service
Until recently, the specific usage limits for each Gemini tier were unclear. Fortunately, Google has now updated its Help Center article, "Gemini Apps limits & upgrades for Google AI subscribers," with precise details.
Gone are the vague descriptors like "limited access" or statements about possible caps. It now clearly states that free accounts get up to 5 prompts daily with Gemini 2.5 Pro, AI Pro plans offer 100, and AI Ultra provides 500 prompts.
Free accounts are also capped at five Deep Research reports and 100 generated images per day. If you require more than 100 AI-generated images daily—first, we have to ask, what for?—upgrading to Pro or Ultra increases that limit to 1,000 images. You can view the complete breakdown here.

Finally, some clarity on Gemini limits! I was so confused about how many queries I could actually squeeze in a day. Now I can stop worrying about hitting an invisible wall mid-conversation. But honestly, 50 requests per day on the free tier? That feels a bit stingy, Google. 😅 Hope they don't tighten it further later.
