European AI Startup Lovable Raises $40M Series C, Valuation Hits $13.3B

Lovable, a leading AI coding platform in Europe, has officially announced a major new funding round. The company raised $40 million in its Series C round, boosting its valuation to $13.3 billion. Menlo Ventures and Scaleup Europe Fund co-led the investment, which attracted over ten other institutions.
This follows a $330 million financing deal in December last year, when Lovable was valued at approximately $6.6 billion. The company’s rapid business growth has driven this valuation surge. As of June this year, Lovable’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) has exceeded $500 million.
Lovable’s platform ecosystem has also seen significant upgrades alongside its business expansion. The platform now hosts around 60 million projects and receives up to 900 million monthly visits. To meet this demand, Lovable has integrated advanced large language models and launched its own in-house AI model. In June, the company formed a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud, resulting in a fivefold increase in computing power and service usage.
Beyond business growth, Lovable is actively supporting Europe’s AI ecosystem. For instance, it recently invested in Danish startup Atech, which develops AI programming tools for hardware design. With new funding and an expanding ecosystem, Lovable is accelerating its efforts to maintain its leadership in global AI-assisted development.
