ChatGPT launches app integrations for DoorDash, Spotify, Uber and more

OpenAI’s ChatGPT now supports app integrations, letting you link your accounts directly and ask the assistant to take actions on your behalf. With the Spotify integration, for example, you can request personalized playlists that appear instantly in your Spotify app.

To begin, ensure you’re logged into ChatGPT. Simply type the name of the app you want to use at the start of your prompt, and ChatGPT will walk you through signing in and connecting your account.

If you prefer to set everything up ahead of time, navigate to the Settings menu and select Apps and Connectors. You can explore the available apps, choose the ones you’re interested in, and you’ll be directed to each one’s sign-in page.

Keep in mind that connecting your account means sharing your app data with ChatGPT. Be sure to review the permissions you grant when linking accounts. For instance, connecting your Spotify account allows ChatGPT to access your playlists, listening history, and other personal details. (Sharing this information helps tailor the experience, but if privacy is a concern, consider whether you’re comfortable with this level of access before connecting.)

You can also disconnect any app at any time directly from the Settings menu.

Angi

Angi is among the latest companies to launch an in-app experience within ChatGPT. This online home service marketplace lets users ask home improvement questions directly in the AI chatbot and request to be matched with an Angi professional, all in one place. You can inquire about house projects and repair guidance, request a quote, and be directed to Angi to continue the experience with its own AI assistant.

Canva in ChatGPT is a practical tool for graphic designers and anyone who needs to generate visual content quickly. Whether for a social media post, a poster, or a presentation slide deck, it can help kickstart your project and spark ideas.

Once you connect your Canva account, you can ask ChatGPT to design something like “a 16:9 slide deck about our Q4 roadmap” or “a fun poster for a dog-walking business.” You can specify preferences such as fonts, color schemes, formats (like Instagram posts or stories), and exact dimensions.

AI-generated designs are rarely flawless, sometimes producing distorted images or spelling errors. Still, many users may find this preferable to starting from nothing, and you can jump into Canva at any time to refine the design until it looks exactly how you want.

Coursera’s integration helps you quickly find the best online courses suited to your skill level. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to locate an “intermediate-level course on Python.” You can then request a comparison of course options by rating, duration, and cost before enrolling. ChatGPT can also provide a concise overview of what each course covers.

DoorDash

DoorDash launched its ChatGPT integration in December 2025, aiming to save time on meal planning and grocery shopping. Users can ask the chatbot for a meal plan and instantly add all ingredients to their DoorDash cart, then review and check out.

​Currently, this feature is available only to U.S. users, with participating grocery retailers including Kroger, Safeway, Fairway Market, Wegmans, and more.

Expedia

ChatGPT can display hotel options and flights through Expedia without leaving the chat. Whether you’re planning a quick getaway or a longer trip, it can find flights that match your travel dates, budget, and number of travelers. You can refine results by saying things like “Only show 4-star hotels.” Once you find something appealing, head to Expedia to finalize your booking.

To use Figma in ChatGPT, you can ask it to generate diagrams, flow charts, and more. This is useful for turning ideas and brainstorming sessions into something more concrete. It can also help visualize complex concepts or workflows.

You can also upload files and ask the chatbot to generate a product roadmap for your team. This roadmap can include milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, helping your team stay organized and focused on their goals.

Quizlet

Quizlet recently launched a native app within ChatGPT, allowing students to convert AI conversations, notes, or documents into study materials and flashcard sets. Users can also enter an active practicing mode in ChatGPT, where they can access Quizlet’s library of millions of study sets.

One of the most useful aspects of using Spotify in ChatGPT is the ability to quickly create playlists and discover new recommended songs tailored to your tastes. You can ask it to create a playlist based on your current mood or one that includes only tracks from your favorite band.

It can also suggest new artists, playlists, audiobooks, and podcast episodes. Additionally, ChatGPT can perform actions on your behalf, such as adding or removing items from your Spotify library.

Retail giant Target strategically launched a beta version of its ChatGPT integration just before Black Friday. This feature allows shoppers to ask the chatbot for gift ideas and quickly build a shopping basket with multiple items without leaving ChatGPT. For instance, users can request suggestions for a movie night, and the chatbot will provide a curated selection of available Target items. Shoppers can add these items to their cart and complete the purchase using their Target account, choosing from same-day “Drive Up,” in-store pickup, or standard shipping.

Uber

If you’re planning a trip, the Uber integration makes finding ride options easy, which is especially helpful in a new country. You can set up your trip in the ChatGPT app, then finalize the ride request and payment in the Uber app.

Currently, it’s only available in the U.S. and doesn’t support advance ride bookings—only on-demand rides are offered. You can choose from options like UberX, UberXL, Comfort, and Black.

There’s also an Uber Eats integration for U.S. users, allowing you to browse local restaurants and menu items within ChatGPT before completing payment in the Uber Eats app.

In March 2026, website builder Wix launched its integration, enabling users to prompt ChatGPT to create a functional website using just text or voice. Users can describe the desired capabilities, appearance, and other features. Existing Wix users can also manage their business within ChatGPT, handling scheduling, payments, SEO, accessibility, performance, security, and more.

Zillow

If you’re searching for a new home, Zillow in ChatGPT can make the process more straightforward. With a simple text prompt, you can find homes that match your criteria and apply filters to narrow the results. Whether you’re looking for a specific price range, number of bedrooms, or particular neighborhoods, you can specify these details in your prompt, making the search far more efficient and tailored to your needs.

What’s next?

Alongside the announcement that OpenAI would bring apps into ChatGPT, the company also said it plans to welcome additional partners soon, including OpenTable, PayPal, and Walmart. These integrations are expected to launch in 2026.

The rollout of ChatGPT’s app integrations is currently limited to the U.S. and Canada. Users in Europe and the U.K. are excluded for now.
