Privacy-focused browser developer Brave has unveiled an enhanced AI search capability called "Ask Brave," designed to deliver comprehensive responses to user queries alongside traditional search results. The new functionality complements Brave's existing AI Answers feature, which provides summarized information responses.

The Ask Brave feature eliminates mode switching by automatically detecting question-based queries. Users can access detailed responses through multiple methods:
- Clicking the dedicated Ask button adjacent to the search bar
- Selecting the Ask tab from standard results
- Appending double question marks ("??") to queries (for default Brave Search users)

Unlike conventional search snippets, Ask Brave generates report-style answers incorporating:
