HomeAWS unveils Continuum and Context to boost AI agent security and business context
During the AWS Summit in New York, Amazon Web Services (AWS ) unveiled two new offerings—AWS Continuum and AWS Context—aimed at resolving critical hurdles in deploying AI agents for production, specifically security vulnerabilities and the absence of business context.
AWS Continuum automates the remediation of code vulnerabilities by prioritizing business impact for both known and newly identified risks, executing fixes automatically after validation in a sandbox. Conversely, AWS Context constructs a shared enterprise knowledge graph, equipping all organizational agents with context-aware capabilities to prevent hallucinations and misinformation.
Beyond these new services, AWS has enhanced its existing ecosystem. Prompted by February 2026 service disruptions caused by AI coding tools, which triggered stricter internal code review policies, the testing-phase AWS DevOps Agent now features release readiness reviews and dynamic test plan generation. This preview is currently available at no cost in the US East region.
Additionally, the coding agent Kiro released a native iOS app for cross-platform synchronization, while Bedrock AgentCore, a platform for managing production agents, has integrated major third-party data connectors and security filters. This wave of product launches and updates highlights a clear shift in AI agent technology from experimental testing to production-grade applications, establishing robust security and deep business context as essential foundations for enterprise AI success.
