On September 7, Unitree Technology unveiled a major milestone: the world’s first real-time, fully autonomous humanoid robot combat powered by a world model.
This breakthrough leverages UnifoLM-X2-1.0, addressing key challenges in world-action large models for instantaneous planning, decision-making, and dynamic interaction. It enables humanoid robots to predict and plan future states in real time, executing combat actions autonomously even in highly dynamic, interactive environments.
Unitree confirmed that this achievement proves the viability of scaling world model-driven humanoid robots. As world models integrate more closely with robotic control systems, these robots will transition from pre-programmed tasks to complex, real-time scenarios requiring dynamic perception, adaptive decision-making, and autonomous action.
