The emotional companion smart hardware sector has a new entrant. French tech brand WIKO launched an AI pet hardware product called "Xingzai" on June 1. The product emphasizes multimodal interaction, priced at 499 yuan, with sales scheduled to begin on June 30 at 10:08 AM.
As a portable smart device, "Xingzai" features playful aesthetics and interactive design. It comes in three colors: Xingzai Blue, Xingzai Pink, and Xingzai Gray Gold. A magnetic module on the front allows easy attachment to backpacks or other items. For interaction, it supports touch, shake, and voice commands, along with sound localization—it turns its head toward the person speaking. An internal growth system lets users unlock a special "Earth Language" mode once their intimacy level with Xingzai reaches 700.
The core technology highlight is its deep integration with Huawei's Xiaoyi large model. This enables "Xingzai" to offer stronger text comprehension and emotional companionship. A "Mood Diary" feature records and stores every word the user says, then automatically generates summaries and assesses the user's stress level.
To support full-scene companionship, "Xingzai" overcomes the limitations of traditional smart hardware that relies solely on local networks. It supports both Wi-Fi and 4G connections, allowing users to stay online in parks, while traveling, or in other outdoor settings. Hardware specs include a 1900mAh battery, 5V2A charging input, and interchangeable personalized accessories. Pre-orders are now available on e-commerce platforms.
