Tencent's Intelligent Agent Ecosystem Debuts in Fuzhou, Elevating AI as New Quality Productivity

"I'm planning to launch a one-person company and want to build intelligent agents that can meet specific needs while allowing precise management of those agents..." At the Digital China Construction Summit, a visitor raised this question to a Tencent technical staff member at the booth. The staff member recommended the Tencent Cloud Intelligent Agent Development Platform (ADP), which simplifies the creation of enterprise-level complex skills.

On April 29, the 9th Digital China Construction Summit kicked off in Fuzhou. Tencent highlighted the theme "Making useful AI an accessible productivity tool," presenting its Agent intelligent agent ecosystem that links large models, applications, and users to establish an open, user-friendly, and secure ecosystem. The Tencent Huyuan Hy3preview language model made its exhibition debut at the event.

This year, AI development has shifted from a "dialogue" to an "execution" paradigm, with intelligent agents surging in popularity. At this exhibition, Tencent focused on showcasing its self-controlled, "capable of speaking and acting" intelligent agent ecosystem, along with the underlying Huyuan large model technology. The goal is to promote "useful AI" as a new productive force, improving people's lives through technological inclusiveness," said Han Chuangkai, Vice President of Tencent.

Establishing a Self-Controlled and Secure Intelligent Agent Ecosystem

This year, AI intelligent agents have gained widespread popularity. Tencent quickly moved from market validation and product definition to a full matrix launch, releasing localized products like WorkBuddy and QClaw. These efforts continuously lower the barrier for individual users to deploy intelligent agents, speeding up the progress of technological inclusiveness.

WorkBuddy, a desktop intelligent agent workbench developed by Tencent, can be downloaded, installed, and connected to WeCom in as little as one minute. With just a single sentence description, it automatically completes tasks and delivers verifiable results. QClaw, a consumer-grade AI agent built on OpenClaw, undergoes nearly daily iterations, continuously adding features and lowering usage barriers. Currently, QClaw also supports Hermes first, enabling both "raising shrimp and horses" within one app, and integrates the latest Hy3preview and DeepSeek-V4Pro.

To help intelligent agents perform better, Tencent has launched the AI Skills Community—SkillHub, tailored for Chinese users to foster an open, shared skill ecosystem. Tencent packages core product capabilities like Tencent Docs, Tencent Meetings, Tencent Maps, ima, and QQ Browser into official Skills, while many developers convert their expertise into skills and share them in the community. This empowers more users and intelligent agent products to collaborate on professional tasks. Currently, SkillHub hosts over 35,000 skills and continues to expand.

When advancing tool convenience, security remains the first and last line of defense. To ensure a safe user environment, Tencent has introduced a comprehensive protection system covering cloud, local enterprises, and individuals. At its core, Tencent Cloud launched the "AI Agent Security Center," offering a multi-layered, three-dimensional protection scheme that spans cloud, terminal, platform, and ecosystem, helping enterprises achieve "visibility, controllability, and auditability" of AI agents. For individual users, the Tencent Computer Manager team introduced the "Lobster Manager" AI security sandbox, which isolates operations with one click, keeping high-privilege actions within a safe, controllable boundary.

Meanwhile, Tencent continues to strengthen the security capabilities of its self-developed products. In the cloud-based OpenClaw baseline capability standard evaluation organized by the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology, five products—WorkBuddy, QClaw, lightweight cloud OpenClaw, cloud desktop cloud phone Claw, and ClawPro—were among the first to pass the institute's "security checkup," earning national authoritative recognition.

Strengthening the Technical Foundation: The New Huyuan Model Makes Its Exhibition Debut

The advancement of AI depends on a strong large model technology foundation. In recent years, Tencent has ramped up its self-research efforts, boosting the competitiveness of the Huyuan large model. Currently, the Huyuan model family includes a matrix covering language, images, videos, and 3D generation.

At this summit, the newly released Tencent Huyuan Hy3preview language model made its exhibition debut. According to the introduction, it is a hybrid expert model that combines fast and slow thinking, with a total of 295 billion parameters and 21 billion activated parameters, supporting a maximum context length of 256K. As the first model trained after the reconstruction of Huyuan, Hy3preview shows significant improvements in complex reasoning, instruction following, in-context learning, coding, agent capabilities, and overall reasoning performance. This allows small and medium-sized enterprises to quickly build dedicated AI applications without heavy investment. Currently, Hy3preview has been deployed on products such as Tencent Cloud, Yuanbao, ima, CodeBuddy, and WorkBuddy, achieving deep "model and product" integration.

Additionally, the Huyuan 3D World Model and the Huyuan Image 3.0 Image-to-Image Model debuted at the exhibition. Visitors could observe the entire process of creating a "Lobster Goose" figurine, from 3D model generation to 3D printing. With the Huyuan 3D World Model, they could generate a complete virtual world with just a few sentences, including people, objects, and scenery. They could also use the Huyuan Image 3.0 model to create emoticons and take photos with virtual characters.

Creating "AI Friends Nearby" to Enhance People's Livelihood and Technological Inclusiveness

From "being able to use" to "using well," China's AI development has always followed a practical approach. Under the "Artificial Intelligence+" initiative, Tencent continues to advance technological inclusiveness and the realization of people's values, seamlessly embedding AI into popular apps like WeChat and QQ. This drives AI applications in areas such as employment, healthcare, elderly care, education, and culture, enabling hundreds of millions of users to enjoy smart services in their daily work and life with low barriers and high efficiency.

As Tencent's all-purpose AI assistant, Yuanbao now integrates the latest Hy3preview, showing significant improvements in casual conversation, writing, search, and agent capabilities. This provides users with a smarter, more "human-like" interaction experience.

Furthermore, in office settings, AI assistants like WeCom, Tencent Meetings, and Tencent Docs have been comprehensively upgraded to continuously boost office efficiency. Ima becomes a "knowledge manager," while QQ Browser serves as an AI browser that deeply understands user needs, helping improve learning and work efficiency. Tencent Map's "AI Dingdang" acts as an "AI tour guide," helping visitors create a "three-day tour plan in Fuzhou." An AI health management assistant interprets health check reports and offers personalized suggestions.
