Tencent Launches Marvis Ma Weisi iOS App with Full Platform Coverage, Desktop-Level Remote Control
Marvis, Tencent's system-level AI assistant, has recently launched its mobile app on the Apple App Store. Building on the May 20, 2026 releases for Android, Windows, and macOS, Marvis now achieves full coverage across mobile and PC platforms, with a focus on improving cross-device collaboration through "multi-device account interoperability."
The iOS version of Marvis, as a system-level AI, excels at bridging heterogeneous systems, enabling cross-ecosystem connections like Android phones to Macs or iOS phones to Windows. Its "cross-device remote control of computers" feature allows users to control multiple PCs in real time from their smartphones, offering a desktop-level visual interface rather than traditional command-line instructions. In real-world work or daily life, even when users are away from their desks, with locked screens or offline status, they can remotely wake PCs, transfer historical documents, handle large file downloads, or switch to a pure cloud mode to independently complete information retrieval and file processing.
Since its May 20, 2026 launch, Marvis has maintained a rapid development pace, releasing 21 versions within a month with an iteration cycle of 1–2 days. During this time, it has rolled out features including conversation management, voice input, persona management, and low-resource mode. The team has indicated that Marvis will gradually introduce deeper capabilities such as Mac local mode, global knowledge base, and custom agents.
As AI agents become embedded in the operating system core, Tencent's Marvis cross-device coverage not only reduces the barrier to multi-device collaboration but also presents a new paradigm for system-level AI to enhance daily office work and remote control, potentially accelerating the evolution of a decentralized multi-device collaboration ecosystem.
