Funding trails link to a political action committee
The probe started with a suspicious interview request. An advocacy group member was contacted by a reporter identifying as Michael Chen, but the journalist’s credentials could not be verified, and most listed staff members displayed obvious robotic traits.
More alarming is that tracing the funding for these fake accounts led to a super PAC affiliated with OpenAI. This discovery has sparked public concern about major AI companies influencing public opinion, further blurring the lines regarding AI’s role in political propaganda.
