Nvidia Aids in Upskilling Educators and Preparing Students for AI Era

AI is transforming industries left and right, making it a crucial skill for anyone in or entering the workforce. To spread AI knowledge far and wide, Nvidia launched the Deep Learning Institute University Ambassador Program, designed to arm educators with the tools they need to lead cutting-edge AI workshops. Exciting news: this program is now spreading its wings to a new state!
On Monday, Nvidia announced a fresh AI education initiative in Utah. Through a dynamic public-private partnership, educators from universities, community colleges, and adult education programs will be certified through Nvidia's Deep Learning Institute (DLI) University Ambassador Program. This program provides educators with teaching kits, workshop content, and access to Nvidia's GPU-accelerated workstations in the cloud.
"We need to prepare our students and faculty for this revolution," said Spencer Cox, Utah's governor. "Partnering with Nvidia is the perfect way to ensure Utah is ready for the AI boom, both now and in the future."
Not Nvidia's First Rodeo
Nvidia isn't new to these collaborations. Back in August, they teamed up with California to kickstart an AI training program aimed at upskilling 100,000 residents. These efforts are all about preparing students and workers to meet the evolving demands of the job market.
The first wave of educational institutions to benefit in Utah includes the Utah System of Higher Education, along with several universities such as the University of Utah, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, Weber State University, Utah Tech University, Southern Utah University, Snow College, and Salt Lake Community College.
Even if you're not in Utah, if you're an instructor eager to join the Nvidia Deep Learning Institute University Ambassador Program, you can apply by filling out the DLI Certified Instructor Application on Nvidia's website. Before you apply, take a moment to check out the qualifications to see if you're a good fit.

Interesting initiative! I've always wondered how schools can keep up with the rapid pace of AI development. Equipping educators is definitely the right first step, but I hope the curriculum also addresses the ethical implications and potential job displacement. It's not just about using the tools, but understanding their impact. 🤔
Nvidia делает важное дело, готовя педагогов к эпохе ИИ! 🧠 Но интересно, как это повлияет на традиционные методы преподавания? Не превратятся ли лекции в сплошное программирование?
Wow, Nvidia's really stepping up with this AI education push! It's cool to see them empowering teachers to prep students for the future. I just hope it’s not all about their tech dominating—more open-source vibes would be nice. 🤔
This Nvidia program sounds like a game-changer for education! 🚀 Equipping teachers with AI tools is a smart move to prep students for the future. Wonder how fast schools will adopt this?
