Galaxy General, a leading company in embodied intelligence, has secured a new round of financing totaling up to 2.5 billion yuan. This marks the official entry of the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Fund (also known as the National Large Fund Phase III) into the embodied intelligence sector. The funding round attracted an impressive roster of "national team" investors and industrial capital. In addition to the National Large Fund, key industry players such as Sinopec, CITIC Group, China Bank, and SAIC Group’s financial arm participated, alongside local state-owned capital platforms including Yizhuang Guotou, Kunpeng Fund, and Wuxi Venture Capital. Existing shareholders like Semiconductor聚源 also continued their support.
As the focal point of this round, Galaxy General not only received the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund’s first-ever investment in embodied intelligence, but also became the sole humanoid robotics investment target of Ningde Era. This investment consortium—comprising top-tier policy-driven funds and industry leaders from energy, automotive, and finance—reflects strong market confidence in embodied intelligence as the physical form of next-generation general artificial intelligence.
Amid a global shift in AI competition toward physical-world interaction, Galaxy General’s major funding boost is set to accelerate R&D and commercialization in the embodied intelligence industry.
