On April 6, Microsoft announced in a blog post that it has officially invited Microsoft 365 Insider program members to test the new Copilot collaboration feature in the iOS version of Word. This feature, previously known as Agent Mode, aims to transform mobile document productivity through natural language interaction.

Users with a Copilot license can now directly access the AI assistant within documents:
Instruction-driven: Users simply click the Copilot icon in the document and input their ideas; the AI will then generate a draft or refine existing content based on the instructions.
