Moonshot AI’s Kimi desktop client has just received a major update, bringing two key features to Kimi Work (Beta). The release introduces "Goal Mode," capable of running autonomously for 24 hours, and officially launches the "Plugin Center," which integrates with leading office software.
To promote these new capabilities, Kimi is offering a limited-time promotion throughout June 2026. Members using Work mode will receive a 50% discount on their membership quota consumption during this period.
Goal Mode Enables 24-Hour Autonomous Execution
The new "Goal Mode" utilizes an intelligent loop mechanism designed for complex, long-running tasks with unpredictable paths. Users simply define a clear objective, and the AI agent executes the task independently without requiring constant human oversight.
As it operates, the system continuously evaluates progress against the goal to refine its approach, keeping the overall direction on track. The entire process remains transparent, allowing users to interrupt the loop or provide additional instructions at any time to steer the outcome.
Plugin Center Integrates with Top Office Tools
Beyond its built-in professional databases for finance and law, the updated Kimi Work now features an office collaboration plugin center. Users can install popular applications such as Baidu Netdisk, DingTalk, Feishu, WPS, Canva, and Notion.
Using simple slash commands, users can invoke these external apps with a single request, automating repetitive daily tasks. This upgrade transforms Kimi Work from a basic text chat tool into a powerful efficiency assistant that directly controls mainstream office software.
