Intel Collaborates with Chinese Tech Giants to Bring AI Brain to Five Smart Home Scenarios

The Fourth China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo officially launched in Beijing. At the expo, Intel, alongside several leading domestic technology companies, introduced the "AI Family Brain" solution, designed to create a new intelligent AI home ecosystem. This move represents a major milestone in applying edge AI within the smart home sector.
Built on the third-generation Intel Core Ultra and Core processors, this solution stands out for its ability to run the "AI brain" efficiently on local hardware. Unlike conventional cloud-based smart home systems, local computing power enhances privacy, security, and response speed while seamlessly integrating all home devices. In practice, the solution covers five key areas: health, safety, entertainment, emotional interaction, and daily life, shifting from individual device control to full-scenario proactive services.
The event drew strong participation from major domestic tech players, including Haier, Hisense, Lenovo, Tencent, Midea, TCL, JD.com, MindSpore Intelligence, Xiaomi, Honor, Tuya Smart, MiniMax, and others. As large model technology continues to move toward edge and device endpoints, Intel's collaboration with upstream and downstream partners across chip computing, terminal hardware, and large model algorithms demonstrates a comprehensive model for edge AI deployment. This ecosystem, led by computing power leaders, is expected to further dismantle brand barriers and accelerate the smart home industry's transition to a true edge-intelligent era.
