HKGAI Debuts V3 Large Model and Hong Kong's First Productivity-Level Super Agent

On June 3rd, at the "HKGAI V3 Large Model Launch and Ecosystem Collaboration Conference," the Hong Kong Generative AI Research Center (HKGAI) officially unveiled its latest custom-built local large model, HKGAI V3, alongside Hong Kong's first productivity-grade super agent.
This platform pushes beyond existing agent technology boundaries, demonstrating a breakthrough capability in testing: stable operation for up to 28 hours without human intervention. It seamlessly handles diverse complex tasks across different phases, including data organization, reasoning analysis, report writing, and code development, marking the official transition of Hong Kong's end-to-end, full-process autonomous AI applications into the productivity stage.
As a pioneer in Hong Kong's large model ecosystem, the Hong Kong Generative AI Research Center operates under the InnoHK Innovation Hong Kong R&D Platform, a flagship science and technology initiative of the Hong Kong SAR government. Reflecting on its technological journey, the center launched Hong Kong's first self-developed AI large model, HKGAI V1, in February of last year. The release of V3 and the super agent highlights its swift progression from establishing foundational model capabilities to enabling deep, complex application scenarios.
Industry experts note that the launch of HKGAI V3 and the super agent not only raises the automation ceiling for complex local business processes but also offers highly reliable localized technical support for the digital transformation of government and enterprise sectors across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This agent technology, which combines long-term stable operation with multi-task collaboration, is emerging as a key benchmark for evaluating the industrialization capability of next-generation AI large models.
