Halliday G2 Launches with Real-Time AI Assistance and Camera-Free Design
On July 21, smart glasses brand Halliday officially launched its second-generation AI glasses Halliday G2. Priced at $599, the product is expected to start shipping in September 2026.

Unlike traditional AI tools that focus on post-meeting recording and summarization, the Halliday G2 centers on a new Meeting Flow experience, emphasizing real-time assistance during conversations.
Real-time Follow-up: Provides real-time subtitles and translation in over 45 languages, along with quick summaries and information retrieval to help users stay engaged in the discussion.
Driving Decisions: Tracks topics, confirms decisions, and checks commitments, clearly outlining the discussion direction, responsible parties, and follow-up actions.
Closed-loop Management: Sends reminders for pending issues before and during meetings, and automatically generates structured meeting notes afterward.
From a hardware and design perspective, the Halliday G2 omits a camera, avoiding privacy concerns around photography, making it suitable for sensitive environments like confidential work and business communications. It continues the "everyday glasses first" philosophy with a stylish frame and optional prescription lenses.
Display System: Features dual-eye waveguide display and dual Micro-LED projection, with peak brightness up to 1,600 nits, single-eye resolution of 600×300, and a display area positioned above the field of view for natural eye contact.
Audio and Battery Life: Includes a 4-microphone array that picks up voices from up to 2 meters away and can distinguish speakers, with over 12 hours of daily battery life.
Multi-functional Experience: Integrates the Halliday AI assistant, Cheatsheet (cue mode), Stealth Mode (low-light privacy display), and supports phone calls and music playback.
