Grok 4.2 Beta Launches with Rapid Learning, Weekly Updates Planned
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, announced today on X that the candidate release version (public beta) of Grok 4.2, a large language model developed by his company xAI, is now available for users.
To try this new version, users must manually select the Grok 4.2 beta option on the platform and complete activation. The system won't automatically update existing versions to this beta.

In his tweet, Musk warmly invited users to provide valuable feedback on Grok 4.2, noting that their input will be key to the model's ongoing optimization and improvement.
Compared to earlier versions, Grok 4.2 introduces core upgrades, most notably a fast learning capability. This allows the model to adapt and master new information more quickly, delivering more accurate and efficient service to users.
