Cursor, the AI coding tool popular among developers, has been making headlines. After reports of a significant investment from SpaceX, it officially launched a mobile app called Cursor Mobile. This app lets developers start and direct their AI coding agents directly from their smartphones, anytime and anywhere.
The app aligns with Cursor's major pivot toward autonomous coding agents. Users can create new AI agents on their phones and also interact in real time with agents running on the desktop client. With this move, Cursor follows Anthropic and OpenAI in bringing powerful AI coding tools to the mobile ecosystem.
