China Telecom Unveils AI Plan: Millions of Tokens for 9.9 Yuan, Like a Data Package
China Telecom has launched a trial commercial Token package series, combining its own and third-party computing resources to create an integrated "AI + connectivity + security" service model. These packages target three specific groups: developers and SMEs, individual and family users, and Token ecosystem partners, aiming to lower the barrier to AI adoption and accelerate large-model deployment across various scenarios.

For developers and small and medium-sized enterprises, China Telecom integrates its proprietary Xingchen Large Model with GLM5, a leading domestic large model, focusing on professional use cases such as AI programming, code development and debugging, intelligent agent deployment and maintenance, and high-computing tasks, delivering low-latency Token services. The offering includes three base Token plans starting at 39.9 yuan per month, each including at least 15 million Tokens, plus two optional add-ons—"Broadband Uplink Speed Boost" and "Security Protection"—to meet enterprise demands for network performance and security.
For individual and family customers, the package combines the Xingchen Large Model with DeepSeek V3.2 and other high-quality ecosystem models, designed to provide stable and reliable Token services for daily office assistance, learning, content creation, and copywriting. The base Token plan starts at 9.9 yuan per month and includes at least 10 million Tokens, with support for the same two optional add-ons. Later, China Telecom will upgrade to an integrated "AI application + connectivity + security" service, using the "Star Xiao Chen Intelligent Agent" as a unified access point, offering AI app packages that cover AI calling, writing, image/video generation, transcription, and AI travel.
For ecosystem cooperation and benefit operations, China Telecom will soon launch "Tianyi Token Coin" and "Token Benefits" for Token ecosystem partners. Tianyi Token Coin will serve as the unified unit for Token operations and circulation, enabling customers to exchange points for Token packages and AI applications. China Telecom will also ramp up efforts to onboard more AI ecosystem application partners, jointly run Token benefit programs, and build an open AI value ecosystem.
