Horseshoe is located about an hour from Louisville, offering convenient access. This project signals that the tech unicorn, globally recognized for its Claude AI engine, is accelerating the expansion of its core computing infrastructure.
Supercomputing Center of Unprecedented Scale
According to TeraWulf, which owns the center, the computing infrastructure's power capacity is expected to reach approximately 400 megawatts by 2027. This massive energy supply will support Anthropic's next phase of training and operating more advanced AI models.
From a business perspective, the 20-year lease agreement will generate approximately $19 billion in revenue for TeraWulf during the initial term. This validates the company's energy strategy and lays a solid foundation for future growth.
