Aliyun's HappyHorse Goes Viral as Chinese Online Quickly Enters Market
Alibaba’s ATH Innovation Department has launched limited testing of its next-generation multimodal video generation model, HappyHorse. This model has quickly emerged as a strong contender in the global AI video space, delivering impressive results across Arena.ai’s three core rankings: text-to-video, image-to-video, and video editing.
Cinematic Visuals with Deep Semantic Understanding
HappyHorse is designed for cinematic-quality visuals and supports 1080P ultra-high-definition output. It handles a wide range of visual styles with precision—whether it’s retro Hong Kong aesthetics, sweeping historical scenes, or fresh Chinese-style anime effects—all brought to life with refined lighting and natural camera motion.

On the technical side, the model features strong semantic parsing abilities, handling complex prompts of up to 800 words, and accepts up to nine reference images at once to maintain consistency in character appearance, scene details, and prop elements. A 15-second narrative video at high quality can be generated in just two to five minutes.
One-Click Video Creation with Synchronized Audio
Beyond visual improvements, HappyHorse also excels in multilingual support and audio-visual alignment. It works with Cantonese, English, French, and more, ensuring that lip movements, expressions, and body language stay closely in sync. The model can also automatically generate ambient sounds and background music based on visual content, enabling a fully automated audio-visual creation pipeline.
Chinese Online Integrates “Dimensional Divine Brush,” Expanding the AI Toolkit
Alongside the model’s launch, Chinese digital content leader Chinese Online announced that its full-stack AI content creation platform, Dimensional Divine Brush, has officially integrated with HappyHorse.
Dimensional Divine Brush previously supported several top-tier models, including Seedance 2.0. By adding HappyHorse, Chinese Online strengthens its creative ecosystem across text, images, and video—offering creators more diverse tools, lowering the barrier to high-quality content production, and accelerating the cross-format transformation of premium IP.
As global AI technology continues to advance, the rise of tools like this may reshape the creative logic behind filmmaking and short-form video production.
