Alipay Unveils AI Wallet and Token Pay, Supporting 300 Million Transactions and 95% of General Intelligent Agents

On May 26, Alipay announced that its "AI Payment" feature has processed 300 million AI agent transactions and now supports 95% of mainstream agent frameworks, establishing itself as the world’s first large-scale commercial AI-native payment infrastructure. Alongside this milestone, Alipay introduced the world’s first Token Pay service and a dedicated AI wallet. Combined with the previously released AI Pay and AI Collect features, these innovations form a comprehensive AI-native payment ecosystem for the AI era, covering the entire lifecycle from authorization and management to payment, settlement, security, and trust.

This marks Alipay’s third major innovation cycle to support the AI era, following the quick payment and scanning payment solutions that powered the e-commerce and mobile internet eras.

Recent data indicates that after previously surpassing 100 million global payments and users, Alipay has now handled a record 300 million AI agent payments.

The surge in agents and AI-driven payments has created new forms of goods and service transactions. Inter-agent transactions are poised to become a primary payment method in the AI era.

Currently, Alipay’s AI payment system supports 95% of general agent frameworks. This includes general-purpose agents such as Qwen, JVS Claw, Claude Code, and Hermes Agent; smart devices like Qwen AI glasses, Rokid, and Future Intelligent AI earphones; smart cabins from Li Auto, Chery, Geely, and Dongfeng; and leading AI tool platforms like TRAE SOLO, Qoder, and Koala.

Following extensive scenario validation, Alipay’s AI payment has become the world’s first large-scale commercial AI-native payment infrastructure.

Alipay has officially launched the world’s first AI wallet for individual users. This personal wallet goes beyond fund management to include agent authorization and control. The Alipay AI wallet allows users to monitor "agent tasks" in real-time before and during payments, and provides post-payment bill queries for full visibility into intelligent consumption. With this feature, the Alipay AI payment system has evolved from "capable of paying and collecting" to "capable of managing and controlling."
