Adobe Ecosystem Deepens Edge-Cloud AI Integration, Major Productivity Tools Upgraded
Adobe yesterday announced a major update to its Creative Cloud suite. The upgrade spans core creative tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, and After Effects. By embedding more advanced algorithms, these applications now bring greater intelligence to everyday creative tasks.

Image Processing Gains Intelligent Innovation
For photographers, the latest Lightroom introduces an auxiliary filtering tool. It lets users quickly sort and select photos based on specific criteria like 'eyes open' or 'eye clarity.' A new photo-to-video feature also converts static images into dynamic short clips, expanding how materials can be presented.
Lightroom now includes an AI sharpening feature powered by a professional noise-aware model. It significantly improves detail in complex textures like petals, hair, and leaves, while maintaining full support for all native RAW formats from Sony's popular cameras.
Video and Audio Editing Efficiency Receives a Major Upgrade
Premiere's latest version adds global audio mute support, letting users silence all sounds with a single click. A new marker search feature enables searching by color or name across open projects, and single-character editing allows designers to adjust subtitles without breaking the overall structure.
Video effects also see improvements. Premiere introduces two new transitions with easing controls, and organic texture effects can be applied directly to the timeline. After Effects gains an AI object mask for better keying and now supports importing SVG files as editable shape layers.
For Photoshop, this update is more modest but adds a useful on-device AI removal tool that works without an internet connection. A new glare removal feature automatically detects and eliminates reflections when shooting through glass, reducing the number of unusable photos.
