NVIDIA released Audex, a unified audio-text LLM built on a sparse MoE architecture. It processes quantized audio and text tokens with a single Transformer decoder, achieving industry-leading performance in audio understanding, speech recognition, translation, and generation while preserving the original LLM's reasoning and alignment capabilities. The open-source model is ready for deployment.
