## The original intention of developing Solo Sound
As a member of the development team, I use social products such as Weibo and Instant on a daily basis, and I also use Notion and Flomo to record my life. But as an introvert, I'm often caught in a paradox: on one hand, I want no one to see my complaints, tweets, and all sorts of wild ideas; on the other hand, I'm eager to get a response, and I want to know "what other people think".

It's this paradox that gave rise to Solo, an app that combines light note-taking with role-playing.

## How is it different from other AI products?
First, we're confident that we've done a better job of making AI interactions work.

Second, our team has deeply experienced many AI products, including international mainstream apps such as Character.ai, as well as domestic ones such as Glow and Chikuma Island. However, we soon realized that continuous interaction is actually quite a laborious task. After the initial novelty of facing a favorite character, it's easy to fall into a situation where you have nothing to say, and even need to rack your brain to figure out how to keep talking. Of course, this is a stage for many creative users to express their talents, but for ordinary users like us, it seems a bit heavy and exhausting.

That's why we created this "not so different" model. All you have to do is record naturally, as you would with any social or note-taking product like Weibo, Instant, Impression Notes, or Flomo. Then the AI characters come in (they may not, you never know).

This asynchronous, more soothing pace, we believe, leads to a more comfortable experience.
